My estimates: what you ran, ready to run again.

Every hotshot estimate and pallet count you run here is kept in this browser, with your checklist score and quiz result. No account, no email. Re-run a saved lane with this week's diesel, delete what you don't need, or print the list.

Checking this browser for saved runs…

Everything below is read from this browser's storage on this device. It stays here unless you copy it into our form and submit it, and anyone using this browser on this device can see it.

Saved estimates are planning estimates, not quotes and not offers to arrange transportation. A re-run repeats your inputs with the settings published this week; it does not check the truck market.

Why come back to a saved estimate

A saved estimate is a snapshot of one week. Three things move after you save it:

  • Diesel. The U.S. Energy Information Administration publishes a new U.S. average on-highway diesel price every week. Its October 20, 2026 release put the October 19 average at $6.276 a gallon, up from $6.179 on October 12 and $6.199 on October 5. A re-run puts the price in our weekly settings into the fuel line of your lane.
  • The season. Truck capacity tightens and loosens around holidays, enforcement weeks and seasonal crunches. The Shipping Seasons Calendar marks those weeks month by month, so you can see whether the week you plan to ship falls in one, and the Freight Market Pulse describes the direction of the market each week.
  • The order. Counts and weights change between a forecast and a purchase order. Re-run the pallet calculator with the new count to see whether the load still fits by floor space and by weight before anyone asks for a truck.
Three steps: an estimate saved in this browser with the October 5 diesel price, a re-run with the October 19 price, and a new entry whose fuel line changes by $11.64; two bars compare the fuel line before and after. How a saved lane is re-run with this week's diesel1. A re-run keeps everything you typed and swaps in this week's diesel. Between the EIA U.S. averages for October 5 and October 19, 2026, diesel rose 7.7 cents a gallon, which moved the fuel line on a 1,360-mile lane by $11.64; the two bars are almost the same length.

Worked example (illustrative)

In the week of October 5, 2026 you ran the hotshot estimator for two crated motors, 72 × 48 × 48 in and 1,600 lb each, from ZIP 23224 (Richmond, VA) to ZIP 75201 (Dallas, TX). After EIA's October 20 release you open My Estimates and press Re-run.

Road miles: 1,137 mi between the two ZIP centers × 1.2 road factor = 1,364, rounded to the nearest 10about 1,360 mi (unchanged)
Driving days: 1,360 ÷ 450 = 3.02, rounded up4 days (unchanged)
Weight: 2 × 1,600 lb = 3,200 lbNon-CDL hotshot (unchanged)
Gallons: 1,360 ÷ 9 mpg151.11 gal
Fuel when saved: 151.11 × $6.199 (EIA U.S. average, Oct 5, 2026)$936.73
Fuel on re-run: 151.11 × $6.276 (EIA U.S. average, Oct 19, 2026)$948.37
Change: $948.37 − $936.73, the same as 151.11 gal × $0.077+$11.64, about 1.2%

A few cents on diesel moves the fuel line by a few dollars, even on a long lane. Re-running keeps that line current; for the bigger picture, check where your ship week falls on the seasons calendar.

What a re-run changes and what it keeps

Part of the resultOn a re-run
Road milesSame Census ZIP centers and road factor, so the same miles unless our road-factor setting changes.
Driving daysSame 450-mile planning day, based on the 11 hours of driving allowed inside a 14-hour window under 49 CFR 395.3.
Equipment, fit and tie-downsSame inputs and the same rules, so the same verdict.
Diesel lineUses the EIA U.S. average in our settings that week.
Price rangeNot shown. Averstone Logistics does not quote or price shipments until its FMCSA registration is active.
Pallet fitSame trailer presets; the answer changes only if you change the count, weight or pallet size.

Your list lives in this browser, nowhere else

My Estimates has no account and no copy on our servers. Each tool writes its result into this browser's local storage, a small storage area that belongs to this site on this device. Four things follow from that:

  • One browser, one list. Your phone and your office computer each keep their own list, and neither can see the other.
  • No expiry date, except in Safari. Local storage has no expiry date, with one exception: Safari deletes a site's saved data after seven days of Safari use without you interacting with that site. Everywhere else the list stays until you delete it or clear the browser's site data. The hotshot estimator and the pallet calculator each keep their ten most recent runs; the checklist, the quiz and the bill of lading draft keep only their latest version. If you use Safari and plan to come back after more than a week, print the list.
  • Private windows forget. In a private or incognito window, everything is erased when the last private tab closes.
  • Blocked storage means an empty list. If the browser blocks site storage, the tools still work but cannot remember anything.

To clear it, press Delete on a single run, press "Clear everything on this device" at the top of the list, or use the browser. In Chrome on a computer: Settings, then Privacy and security, Third-party cookies, See all site data and permissions; search for the site and delete it. The bill of lading generator saves its draft here too, so this page shows only that a draft exists and the day it was saved, never what it says.

My Estimates questions

Where are my saved estimates kept?

In this browser's local storage, on this device only. We cannot see them, and they reach Averstone Logistics only if you press "Add these to the freight form" and then submit our form. A different browser, a different device or a private window will not show them, and a private window erases them when its last tab closes. Local storage has no expiry date, with one exception: Safari deletes a site's saved data after seven days of Safari use without you interacting with that site. Everywhere else the list stays until you delete it or clear your browser's site data.

How do I delete what is saved here?

Press Delete on any single estimate or pallet run, or press "Clear everything on this device" at the top of the list, which also removes your checklist score, quiz result, any bill of lading draft and the form details held for this tab. You can also do it from the browser: in Chrome on a computer, open Settings, then Privacy and security, Third-party cookies, See all site data and permissions; search for our site and delete it.

What does "Re-run with this week's data" change?

For a hotshot estimate it opens the estimator with your saved inputs and runs it again with the settings published that week, including the U.S. average diesel price from the EIA weekly update that our settings carry. Miles, driving days and the fit checks use the same rules as before, so they change only if a rule changes. A saved pallet count uses no weekly data: its button, labelled Run again, simply reopens the calculator with your saved numbers. The new result is saved at the top of the list; the old one stays until you delete it.

Why do my saved estimates not show a price?

The estimator does not show a price: Averstone Logistics LLC is preparing its FMCSA property-broker registration and does not arrange, quote or price shipments until it is active. Use the saved estimate to decide what to ask for; our hotshot rates guide reports sourced 2026 ranges.

How many estimates does this page keep?

The ten most recent hotshot estimates and the ten most recent pallet runs. When you run an eleventh, the oldest one drops off. The checklist, the quiz and the bill of lading draft keep only their latest version.

What happens when I press "Add these to the freight form"?

The page writes a one-line summary of what is listed here into the notes of our interest form, in this browser tab only, and opens the form. Nothing is sent until you check the form and submit it. After that, we contact you the day our registration is active.

Does Averstone Logistics see what I save or how I use this page?

The contents of your list never reach us. Google Analytics records this page visit the way it does on every page of the site, plus a count band (0, 1–3, or 4 or more saved items) when the page opens and the name of the tool when you press Re-run; choosing Decline in the analytics notice turns its cookies off. If we turn on Microsoft Clarity, it loads only after you accept that notice and may record clicks and scrolling, with this list masked. ZIP codes, weights, dimensions and bill of lading details never leave your browser unless you submit our form. Our privacy policy has the details.
